Pyrostrip
High performance intumescent strips with optional cold smoke seal
capability for fire sealing of fire doors, frame-to-wall gaps
and
panelled doors. UPVC sleeving in a range of colours encapsulates
either a high performance Palusol hydrated sodium silicate
core
or Mann McGowan's unique Pyrostrip 500/700 graphite mix core, with

Palusol® SW
Palusol® SW is a ready made laminate board that can be used to manufacture flat and raised + fielded-fire resisting panelled doors.
Our technical manual provides details of all the products required to manufacture these doors without the joinery manufacturer having to go to the expense of fire testing.
The Palusol® SW boards and all the intumescent materials are available from Mann McGowan.

Pyrostrip 210
Brings 30 and 60 minute fire resistance to traditional panelled doors. Pyrostrip 210 intumescent sheets are sandwiched between
hardwood, plywood or MDF to provide composite panels suitable for door manufacture and upgrading of existing doors.
|
|
|
| |
Pyroplaque
A face-applied membrane nominally 2mm thick with a wood-grain surface ready for painting, veneering or staining.
Manufactured from a thin intumescent sheet material which expands in the event of a fire to form a char that insulates the timber from the full effects of the fire. Careful application of Pyroplaque - and the correct installation of other products - allows existing doors to be upgraded on-site to provide fire resistance periods in excess of 30 minutes and smoke resistance as defined by BS 476 Part 31/1.

Enviroseal
Proven since 1981, this range of neoprene and polypropylene seals has
been used as an effective method of sealing doors, windows and hatches
against draughts, smoke, toxic fumes, noise, weather and dust.

Pyropost
Apartment blocks and multiple-occupancy dwellings are often divided up into compartments to reduce the risk of fire spread. Even if the front door to these units is fire resisting, fitting a letter box will increase the risk of the fire spreading. PYROPOST™ overcomes this problem.

|
|
| |
Pyrohinge
Ironmongery - hinges, latches, locks, pivots and closers on timber-based
fire-resisting doors is often forgotten, seriously undermining the
fire integrity of the door set. High performance intumescent Pyrohinge
gaskets insulate the timber, slowing down the charring process.

Pyroglaze Range
A comprehensive range of glazing seals for 30 and 60 minutes fire
resistance. Easily located between fire resisting glass and untreated
timber glazing beads, Pyroglaze's self adhesive semi-rigid pvc encapsulated
strips are quick and easy to install and need no cleaning down after
installation.
|
|
|
| |
Pyrotape
Located between fire resisting glass and metal-based glazed screens
and doors, Pyrotape's self adhesive ceramic fibre based fire
seals are easy to use and need no cleaning down after installation.

Pyrovista
An entirely new approach to timber glazed screens and partitions,
Pyrovista enables fire resisting applications to incorporate
glazing, providing light into offices, hotels, public buildings
etc. Combining aesthetically pleasing designs with high fire
performance, safety and acoustic properties, its unique frame
jointing system allows site construction or factory assembly.
|
|
|
| |
Pyrovista Butt Joint System
The Pyrovista fire resisting butt joint system consists of a 45mm thick timber frame with clear fire-resisting glass to provide 30 minutes integrity or 30 minutes integrity & insulation, dependant upon glass utilised. A 7mm wide joint is used between panes to maximise area and visibility.
|
|
|
| |
Firestile
Unique 3-in-1 intumescent technology allows fully glazed doors to be
incorporated in a slim profile frame while still offering 30 minutes
fire resistance. Available in hardwood or softwood.
|
|
|
| |
Pyrogrille
Stainless steel ties securely hold plastic spacer blocks between PVC
sleeved intumescent strips which expand, sealing and preventing the
passage of fire, smoke and toxic fumes through air ducts and ventilation
systems, and grills in fire doors and partitions.
|
|
|
| |
Pyromas
An intumescent mastic manufactured from a water-based acrylic emulsion
containing fillers. When this solvent-free, one-part sealant
system is subjected to fire, an inorganic meringue capable
of fire sealing building joints up to 25mm (1") is formed
with low smoke emission.
|
|
|
| |
Pyrosleeve
Pre-assembled fire dampers suitable for fire sealing around metal
and plastic pipes, electrical trunking trays, electrical ducts
and ladders. Pyrosleeve has successfully achieved up to four
hours fire resistance, integrity and insulation, indicating
a high
standard of protection against the spread of fire, smoke and
gases.
|
|
|
| |
Pyrospan
A flexible sandwich of intumescent fire seal and flame retardant
foam incorporating a Pyrostrip material ideal for creating
a vertical fire barrier in high-rise buildings using glass
curtain walls. It will also fire seal structural expansion
or movement joints between blockwork, bricks, concrete and
steelwork.
|
|
|
| |
Fyrebag
Manufactured from a coated fire retardant cloth filled with high
performance intumescent granules and fillers, Fyrebag provides
an effective fire stop across the large apertures created by
major service pipes and cable ducts in fire resisting walls
and floors of buildings such as offices, hotels, TV studios,
exhibition halls, hospitals and sports arenas.
